Lorenzo Gesuita THE BEAUTIFUL BRAIN

The Beautiful Brain is a documentary web series that breaks down borders between science and art. Five episodes simplify the crucial steps of brain development using visually impactful analogies from awe-inspiring masterpieces of art. In this talk, Lorenzo shares his experience as a final year PhD student in neuroscience, navigating the challenges of communicating fundamental brain research to the general audience and giving insights into the path his team followed to create The Beautiful Brain, hoping to inspire fellow scientists wishing to communicate their own research.
