Seminar - Biotechnology and Biosciences - Thursday, October 29, 2026, 4:30 PM, Building U3, Room 10.

Abstract
Human organoids are opening a window into human-specific processes that have long remained inaccessible. By capturing an individual’s genetic background while recapitulating key developmental trajectories, organoids can serve as cellular avatars to explore how we develop, mature, and become susceptible to disease. We will discuss how brain organoids can model developmental time across years and how multidonor systems can reveal interindividual variation.
