How are cell-cell signaling outputs controlled in developmental contexts? Is N-glycosylation involved in setting signaling thresholds? Are co-and post-translational modifications during secretion a general determinant of protein quality control? Upcoming work in the Vaccari lab uncovers the consequences of the impairment of two key step in BMP4/Dpp modification in the ER using in vitro assays with mammalian cell and in vivo experiments with Drosophila melanogaster.

Host: Sara Mercurio

The seminar is OPEN to all.

ONLINE REGISTRATION for the seminar is a mandatory requirement for those who wish to request the CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE, which, together with the signature on the ATTENDANCE SHEET, will confirm actual participation.
